Rick - help me out with the acronym? What is MFBA? What are the benefits of having a club participate? I'm running a small club; some good sticks in there that deserve to move upward, but we're not associated with any organization.

Bob,
Minnesota Federation of Bass Anglers, although there are several others that have been thrown around from time to time, but they wouldn't be appropriate here.
The biggest advantages are the advancement opportunities. From the state level anglers can advance to Divisionals to Nationals to the BFL All-American and possibly the Forrest Wood Cup!
If you want to get all the details, come to our annual meeting which is being held in conjunction with the Fishing Tackle Swap Meet on 2/28 at the National Guard Armory in St. Paul. To get more info about it, go to our web site (www.mnbass.org) and click on Latest News. It should be great event.
If you can't make it or have any other questions, shoot me an e-mail at rickpelletier@msn.com.

Hey Lurch- Let me know if you need any info on the southern MN bass tour at the tackle swap. If you fish it I may be able to provide a fully rigged Ranger for your use as long as you pay for the gas ;D
