Hello to the fishing clubs of the USA
My name is Paul Facio and I am one of a handful of people who are responsible for the invention of the Fish Hedz face mask, now known as a Sport Utility Mask. The idea was conceived on a lake in Northern California about 5 years ago during a brutal hail storm. It was the worst event, weather wise; I had ever been in as a member of the Redwood Empire Bass club.
Working in the boating industry and being a tournament angler at the club level gives me a view from both sides of the fence when it comes to sponsorships and making money. I have seen our club officials send out stacks of letters to tackle manufacturers asking for "free" tackle for raffles or charity events with very little response. I have also heard the grumblings of tackle manufacturers at trade shows who complain that local clubs they have sponsored don't even list the company on their web site as a sponsor. It has also become very clear to me, and all of us here at Save Phace, who is buying all the tackle and accessories; it is the "local club angler". Without them the industry would fall flat on its face and I believe all manufacturers should find a more active way to support the local angler that will benefit both parties.
Our club offer has been in existence for several years now and seems to work very well for both Save Phace and the local clubs. It provides a discount for the individual as well as a give away for a club event or fund raiser.
We are offering a 20% discount on a minimum order of 5 new masks. The order needs to be paid in advance with a credit card and would be shipped to one address. In exchange for the order of five masks Save Phace is going to donate a blue mask from our Just ILL series to your club to be used as a fund raiser or raffle prize. Please take a look at the different color choices we have by going to our web site at www.savephace.com and give me a call with any questions. Shipping for the 6 masks is typically $15.00.
Many of you already own a mask and simply need to get a new lens for the upcoming season. The 20% discount also applies to accessories if ordered by a club official.
If your local retailer wants to take advantage of this program please have them give me a call as well; we encourage their involvement.
Some of you might also be interested to know Save Phace released its very first mask for the paintball industry. We call it a Tactical Mask and it has been accepted by the community and is now selling in over 35 countries. If you know anybody who is into paintball have them take a look at the Tactical Mask section of our website. www.savephace.com
