Bob,
So what's your point? Yes, there is (and always will be) multiple tournaments on the same dates. The notion that all the tournament directors in the state will get together and work schedules out so there aren't any conflicts is a fantasy. There simply aren't enough weekends in the year for this to happen with then number of circuits that currently exist in Minnesota.
I can tell you that I worked with the Silverado, Big Bass Bonanza and Joel to avoid scheduling conflicts between our circuits. I also changed one of my dates so as not to conflict with the BWS. And just trying to do it on this small of a scale proved to be extremely challenging, to the point where it now looks like I will have a conflict with the Big Bass Bonanza, which I'm not happy about, but had no choice.
In my opion, conflict equals competition, which is a good thing for the sport in the long run. I understand the challenges it presents to anglers that would like to fish multiple events that conflict with each other. Bottom line is which ever event does a better job of providing what the anglers want will succeed and the those that don't will either have to change (improve) or go away.
Again, I understand your frustration, but hope you appreciate the fact that there was some efforts to reduce conflicts this year for the first time in a long time.
Rick

Absolutely appreciate that fact and thank you for trying... It becomes hard to fish a complete circuit this year was my point, it was not to bash the efforts of some.
The Camp Confidence change seems to cause some concern and there are a few others that will require a decision. If you are going for points, you know how hard it is to make up an event.
Sorry this sounded negative, since it was early, my hopes were that adjustments could be made in some areas.

The reason the Skeeter/Camp Confidence got moved from my understanding is that the Fishing Classic that Camp Confidence does was also moved and Steve has his tournament the following weekend.

Here is one I didn't notice.
TNT Whitefish June 25. On June 25 at 1:00, all anglers fishing the Skeeter tournament cannot be on the water.
Might hamper your enties, I don't know. I know I fish very few TNT's and the Whitefish one I usually do, but can't. Would have to imagine that this will effect other guys as well who would fish it.

Good eye Bill! Dang...when CC moved their weekend it jammed everything-up as we were trying to schedule around it. Let's get a roll call of who it will effect. Anyone besides Bill??
