This past weekend Bassmaster University was in the Cities. I attended the two day event. If it comes next year I would recommend it to anyone including the 20 year veterans.
If you are newer to bass fishing, I think you would get quite alot out of it. If you are a 20 year veteran, you will have to get through alot of what you already know, but you may pick up a thing or two. You also have a chance to talk to each pro and pick their brain about specific things.
Jimmy Houston was very good and very entertaining. David Fritts was also very good. Woo Daves talked worms and threw in some humor when least expected. He believes $150 sunglasses are a waste of money which everyone liked to hear. 100% polarized is 100% polarized he said. Joe Thomas of Angler on Tour was the nicest guy of all of them. He shook everyone's hand that talked to him and asked their name.
Overall it was entertaining and I think everyone could have picked up something from the weekend. If it comes next year, I recommend you consider attending.
